What is wrong with the kids in Malaysia?

This has been a happening topic among friends. Something is seriously not right with secondary school students in Malaysia.(partially of course).

There was a video clip posted on youtube.com, captured the scene of a gang of students(mostly girl) whacking an innocent girl student. Some heavy actions just like what you’ve watched in the hongkong movies. Now here comes the question, why did they do that? It’s not about the whacking I’m curious of, that was kind of normal back in our schooling days. The point is, why did they videoshoot the entire action, and posted it online? For what?

After some decent and quality “Tea Drinking” sessions with various groups of friends around me, these are the opinions that I’ve received.

  • They want to get famous.
  • It’s cool, because NORMAL students definitely do not have portfolio like that.
  • They are bored. Ministry of education must have failed to attract students’ interest in schools.
  • They are brainless, to think of online presense is untracable.
  • Kids live a better life that we did last time, simply can have handphone that able to record 10 minutes+ high-res video

What’s missing in youngsters’ lives nowadays? Who’s responsible for all this? Did anyone explain to them the whole idea about sharing stuffs online? Many questions yet to be answered. I’m in no position to accuse on any party about this, but PARENTS, take more time with your children, show em love with hearts, not money.(I didn’t get to own a handphone at their age, SAD).

Now while I’m writing about my feelings on this issue, someone preferred to express the feel in Image! This dude in 12sq actually came out with these 2 images, to tell you how did he look into this.
