Firefox Extensions: StumbleUpon and SearchStatus toolbars.
Okay, I was wrong. I’ve always thought that toolbars in web browsers are waste of space, and most toolbars are advertisement related. I was very wrong about this. I’ve came across these two very useful firefox extensions, and I’d like to share with you guys.
- StumbleUpon
This is a must to have, if you are very into Internet browsing. During installation, you get to choose your favorite topics. These topics will be available in your browser’s toolbar. After you’ve selected the topic of your choice, and click on “Stumble!“, all the pages with related topic ranked by many others will pop up to you instantly. It’s a very useful tool, especially you want some random quality stuffs to read. You can start installing from here. Below is a screenshot of my firefox browser toolbar.

- SearchStatus
This is another useful extension, when you browse to any page on the web, this toolbar will show the Google PageRank and Alexa ranking of that particular page. Tiny and useful tool. You can start installing here. Here’s a screenshot of mine.

Anything you can share with me?
P/S: These extensions are platform-independent. StumbleUpon works in IE and Firefox, while SearchStatus works on Firefox only.
